SOD CUTTING AND AND HANDING OVER OF PROJECT SITE TO BENEWA & SONS LTD FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF DISTRICT EDUCATION DIRECTOR’S BUGALOW.

On Tuesday, March 28th, 2023, the District Chief Executive, Hon. Addo-Donkor Everson, along with some staff from the Assembly and a representative from the District Education Director’s office, performed a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of a bungalow to accommodate the District Education Director.

The decision to construct the bungalow was made after a resolution was passed by the General Assembly, recognizing the need for a suitable residence for the District Education Director. The contract for the project was awarded to Benewa and Sons Company Limited.

During the ceremony, the District Chief Executive handed over the site to the contractor and urged them to commence work promptly, emphasizing that timely delivery was crucial. He also expressed his gratitude to all the staff who had joined him to cut the sod, stating that the project would contribute significantly to the development of the Assembly.

In conclusion, the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of a bungalow for the District Education Director was a significant step towards improving the education sector in the district. With the contractor now on site, the project is expected to progress smoothly and deliver on the promised timeline.
