DCE DISTRIBUTES 250 DUAL DESK TO SCHOOLS IN TECHIMAN NORTH DISTRICT

On July 13, 2023, Hon Addo-Donkor Everson, the District Chief Executive (DCE), distributed 250 dual desks to schools in the district as part of his commitment to improving education at the basic level and addressing the shortage of furniture in schools. The distribution took place at the premises of the District Assembly.

The beneficiary schools included Tuobodom SDA Primary School, Tanoboase D/A JHS, Sereso D/A Primary School, Bonya D/A Primary School, Buoyem Methodist JHS and Offuman Methodist Primary School.

Hon Addo-Donkor emphasized the importance of education and acknowledged that some schools lacked furniture for their students. He believed it was necessary to provide dual desks to aid in teaching and learning.

The District Director of Education, who was present at the ceremony, expressed gratitude to the DCE for making education a priority. She assured him that the headmasters of the beneficiary schools would maintain the dual desks properly for future use.

Following the speeches, the District Chief Executive and District Coordinating Director handed over the dual desks to the District Director of Education for distribution.
