On July 13, 2023, Hon Addo-Donkor Everson, the District Chief Executive (DCE), distributed 250 dual desks to schools in the district as part of his commitment to improving education at the basic level and addressing the shortage of furniture in schools. The distribution took place at the premises of the District Assembly.
