Hon. Adom Kwabena Johnson
Adom Kwabena Johnson is development-oriented professional with a strong background in public administration and cultural management. Born on January 5, 1988 and comes from Mesidan a suburb in Techiman, he is dedicated to leveraging his critical thinking and administrative expertise to enhance service delivery and policy reforms.
Mr. Adom holds Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Development Studies from the University for Development Studies with a specialization in Social and Development Administration. He is currently reading another master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Ghana, Legon at the Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSER). He also possesses professional qualifications, including Chartered Professional Administrator (ChPA) credentials, alongside a certification in Corporate Governance. He is currently pursuing another professional certification as a Chartered Management Consultant.
With over a decade of progressive experience, Adom Kwabena Johnson currently serves as the Municipal Cultural Officer at the Techiman Municipal office of the Centre for National Culture. His responsibilities include developing and promoting cultural strategies, administering district-level cultural centers, and fostering collaborations to enhance cultural appreciation and integration. Since 2018, he has been playing additional role as the Bono East Regional Public Relations Officer for the same institution. This highlights his commitment to administration and communication.
A proactive participant in professional networks, Mr. Johnson is a member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants-Ghana and the Institute of Directors-Ghana. His political involvement is notable, serving in various communication and leadership roles within the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Adom is known for his teamwork, political communications and strategies in the Bono East enclave. His vision is to continue driving impactful change through innovative solutions in public administration and cultural development.
