District Chief Executive Community Engagement :Adutwei,Asemahunu and Akonkonti

In the earlier hours of Tuesday 31st January 2023, the District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon Addo-Donkor Everson and staff of the Assembly embarked on a Community Engagement Exercise to get a first hand information of the problems and issues confronting the people in his District.

The Exercise took the District Chief Executive to places like Adutwei, Asemahunu and Akonkonti to interact with the opinion leaders and the people. Some of the issues that came up during the visit was poor road network, lack of portable water, Delipidated classroom block, Poor Network for calls, lack of furniture for KG pupil and Electricity Extension.

Hon Addo-Donkor Everson opined that, the issues have been noted by his office and will take action on them. He further stated that, the Assembly needs revenue to carry out developmental projects and will need the support from the Cashew buyers to pay tax to raise Revenue for the project.

Again, He assured the people that, Ghana Safety Net Project which will build Dams and roads in the rural communities to aid them in their farming activities and transportation of farm produce will enable them get employed since they will rely on the locals people for labor.

On that note, the District Chief Executive assured them of his quest to bring development to their door steps by delivering what they requested at the appropriate time .
