On the brunch hours of today, The District Chief Executive, Hon. Addo-Donkor Everson together with the Team from the Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) under the Ministry of Education Bono East Region embarked on a site inspection at Buoyem.
The purpose of the visit was to assess the facilities at the Buoyem Methodist Primary and other additional facilities for the establishment of Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) in the District.
According to the team, the facilities are fit for purpose and needs to be renovated to meet the requirement of TVET assessment team for the commencement of the Training School. She further added that, Accommodation (dormitory) should be considered for the students as some will be posted from neighbouring District.
Several recommendations were made during the site inspection meeting such as conversion of Classroom blocks into training workshop, renovation of some classroom and conversion of Day care facility into dormitory.
