The Techiman North District Assembly on February 26, 2025, conducted four training sessions for farmers in five operational areas, including Tuobodom, Aworowa, Offuman and Buoyam. The training programs focused on:
- Bee Keeping: Enhancing farmers’ knowledge on bee keeping best practices
- Soap Production: Providing alternative income sources through soap making
- Nursery Management in Vegetable Production: Improving vegetable production techniques
- Agrochemical Usage: Educating farmers on safe and effective agrochemical use
Objectives
These training sessions aimed to:
- Enhance farmers’ knowledge and skills in their respective fields
- Provide alternative income sources to improve livelihoods
- Promote sustainable agricultural practices
