Environmental Study Tour Hosted by Techiman North District Assembly

On January 29, 2025, the Techiman North District Assembly welcomed a delegation from the Junior Staff Course 83 of the Ghana Armed Forces for an environmental study tour. Despite ongoing industrial action, Assembly staff engaged with the delegation, facilitating discussions on key thematic areas:

  1. Agri-Business
  2. Land Administration
  3. Tourism
  4. Chieftaincy Issues

The District Development Planning Officer presented an overview of the district’s economic potential and challenges, highlighting its rich vegetation and agrarian activities.

Productive Discussions

Students and staff were divided into groups based on their focus areas, engaging with Heads of Departments and Unit Heads. Valuable insights were gathered to support the preparation of their executive report.

Successful Conclusion

The study tour concluded with a closing prayer and a gift presentation to the Assembly, expressing appreciation for the knowledge gained.

This visit strengthened collaboration between the Ghana Armed Forces and the Techiman North District Assembly, promoting mutual understanding and development.
