Techiman North District Assembly Advances Digital Agenda with Successful Smart Workplace Portal Training

Techiman North, 23rd August 2025 – The Techiman North District Assembly (TENDA) took a significant leap forward in its digitalization journey by successfully hosting a comprehensive training program on the new Smart Workplace Portal. The event, held on Friday, 22nd August 2025, was organized in collaboration with the Office of the Head of Local Government Service (OHLGS) and the Regional Coordinating Council.

The day-long session, which took place at the Assembly’s Mini Conference Hall, was designed to empower staff with the skills to effectively use the innovative Smart Workplace Portal. This crucial initiative is set to transform the Assembly’s operations by automating key administrative processes, thereby increasing efficiency and significantly reducing manual paperwork.

Staff members from various departments and units participated actively in the training, engaging with the new system and its features. The program emphasized the portal’s role in streamlining workflows, enhancing productivity, and modernizing service delivery to the citizens of Techiman North.

The management of TENDA expressed its appreciation to all staff for their full participation and punctuality, which were instrumental in the success of the training. This capacity-building exercise marks a committed step towards building a smarter, more efficient, and digitally-driven future for the District Assembly.
