Confirmation of District Chief Executive

Pursuant to Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936), His Excellency the President nominated Mr. Johnson Kwabena Adom as District Chief Executive for Techiman North District Assembly.

Election Outcome
The Electoral Commission organized a confirmation election, where Mr. Johnson Kwabena Adom was confirmed with a unanimous vote of 100% by all 35 Assembly members.

Ceremony Highlights
The ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including Regional Minister Hon. Francis Owusu Antwi, Regional Coordinating Director, and other dignitaries. The District Coordinating Director, Madam Georgina Tumbakorah, welcomed attendees and expressed gratitude for their presence.

DCE’s Remarks
The DCE-elect, Mr. Johnson Kwabena Adom, thanked the Almighty God and Assembly members for their support. He urged them to work together in unity and diligence for the development of Techiman North.

Regional Minister’s Charge
Hon. Francis Owusu Antwi, Regional Minister, thanked Assembly members for their unanimous vote and encouraged other Municipalities and Districts in the Bono East Region to emulate this spirit of unity.
