On Monday, 7th November 2022, Hon Addo-Donkor Everson the District Chief Executive for Techiman North District Assembly and Staff of the Assembly visited Buoyem to hand over a site for rehabilitation of 5-unit classroom block with office and store to the contractor (Messer FZC limited).

As part of the DCE’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure in the District. Hon Addo-Donkor Everson tasked the Contractor (Messers FZC Limited) to commence the project and deliver on the stipulated time.

Nananom and the Assembly member present were appreciative of the District Chief Executive’s efforts in improving the educational infrastructure in the District.

On this note, the District Director of Education added that Education is key to human capital. She indicated that it was a relief for her when the District Chief Executive informed her office about the rehabilitation of the Classroom block in Buoyem. She mentioned that the District Chief Executive’s efforts towards Education in the District are beyond measure.

The District Works Engineer added that the construction is rehabilitation, which will demand a replacement of some fittings and portions of the building. He added that the nature of work on the project, therefore, means that it will take the contractor six (6) months to complete the project.

The District Chief Executive finally appeal to the contractor to do well and deliver on the stated timeline for the classroom to be used for it intended purpose.
