The 36th National Farmer’s Day on the theme “ensuring Agribusiness Development under Covid-19 Challenges and Opportunities” in the District was organized on the 30th of October, 2020 at Buoyem. In all, 10 individual farmers including, 1 AEA were awarded. They received items, including Motor King Tricycle, cutlasses, bars of key soap, wax print clothes, bicycle, spraying machines, wellington boots, motor bicycle, citations etc.
About 105 exhibitors of food crops and livestock were also given either a cutlass or a bar of soap.
The District’s Overall Best Farmer went to Mr. Kwasi Kyeremeh Man from Asueyi Operational area. He took home a Motor King Tricycle, a Knapsack (Poly P16) , a piece of Wax Print cloth, a Knapsack (sprayer), 2 Wellington Boots, 5 cutlasses, 3 bars of key soap, 2 bags of Fertilizer and a Certificate.
