COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT EXERCISE AT JAMA, TIMPONIM, GYEBIRI AND AKUMFI AMEYAW SHS

On June 13, 2023, Hon. Addo-Donkor Everson, the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Techiman North District, conducted a community engagement in Jama, Timponim, Gyebiri, and Akumfi Ameyaw SHS. He interacted with the chiefs, elders, and community members to understand their issues and assured them of his commitment to addressing their needs with the support of the central government.

The issues and concerns raised during the visit bothers on Water and Sanitation, Electricity Extension, Poor road network, dilapidated Classroom blocks, insecurity issues and Community Health post were the needs of the people. The achievement of the DCE were also highlighted by the Chiefs and commended him for his good works.

The District Chief Executive in his responses indicated that, He has taken note of their issues and also refer to his staff to take necessary action.

Later, he visited Akumfi Ameyaw SHS to boost the students’ morale and encourage them to take advantage of the educational policies implemented by the Government. He also distributed street bulbs in all the locations to enhance visibility and ensure safety during the night. Accompanying him were Assembly staff, including Mrs. Georgina Tumbakorah, the District Coordinating Director, and some Party Executives.
