- AICCRA PROJECT:
Since 2022, the department in collaboration with Accelerating the Impact of CGIAR Climate Research for Africa (AICCRA), which is funded by World Bank has been embarking on Climate Smart Agriculture demonstrations, using yam mini sett technology, maize and cowpea varietal demonstration. The project seeks to multiply yam sett at the expense of change in climate, identify pests/diseases on yam and prevent/control pests/diseases on yam production.
