The programme was graced by showers of blessings of rains in the early hours of the morning.

The Regional Minister Kwasi Adu Gyan, Mrs Lucy Amoh Ntim, (Regional Manager, Forestry Commission), Mr. George Padmore Mensah (Regional Coordinating Director), Hon Everson Addo-Donkor (DCE, Techiman North District), Hon. Mr Benjamin Yaw Gyarko (MCE, Techiman Municipal) Hon. Ofusu Adjare (MP, Techiman North), Mad. Georgina Tumbakorah (District Coordinating Director) and many others were all in attendance.

The Buoyem Electoral Area Assemblymember did a yeoman’s job by mobilising the youth for the Tree Planting Exercise. The enthusiasm was great. The Youth in Afforestation in Techiman North have been deployed to take care of the trees after planting.

After the speeches by Nananom and Officials, which were very brief, the symbolic planting of the trees followed. The Omanhene also planted his tree by the MCE of Techiman Municipality, followed by Buoyemhene/Oyokohene of Techiman Traditional Area, Krontihene of Buoyem, Krontihemaa of Buoyem and others.

It was followed by the masses. It was a very successful exercise.
