Earlier this afternoon, Hon. Peter Mensah, District Chief Executive of the District, visited the Offuman market square to distribute Personal Protective Equipment’s (PPE’s) to women.
As part of the preventive measures putting in place by His Excellency, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo to cap the spread of COVID-19 in the country, especially within the Bono East region.
During the distribution, 500 pieces of nose masks and hand sanitisers were given to the market women who mostly fall under the less privileged.
The market women were advised to adhere to all the safety protocols as advised by the government both by the DCE and the NCCE as part of their civic responsibility
