On 1st August 2025, the Techiman North District Assembly organized a massive clean-up exercise in Tuobodom, the district capital, in line with the shared values of H.E. John Dramani Mahama. The initiative aimed to promote environmental cleanliness and community participation in maintaining a healthy and sustainable district.
The exercise, which ran from 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM, began at the Tuobodom Market, where the refuse dump was completely evacuated to improve sanitation and public health. The activity then extended to all surrounding communities within the district capital. Plans are underway to replicate the exercise in other communities across the Techiman North District.
