Techiman North District Assembly
UNITED WE STAND
As part of the constitutional mandate to decentralize government powers to the grassroots, a standing committee, as stated by the constitution of Ghana, needed to be in place, which is the Town Councils and Unit Committees.
The District is demarcated into five zones/ Area Councils, i.e. Tuobodom Town Council, Offuman Town Council, Aworowa Town Council, Krobo Town Council and Buoyem Town Council.

After an extended stay at home during the COVID-19 outbreak, Student’s were asked to the go back to as per the President’s directives. The District STMIE coordinator had a meeting with the District Director and Management. He later had similar meetings with the SISOs and the various head teachers/masters about the exercise. In fact, all stakeholders welcomed the idea and stated that it would go a long way to help demystify the notion that mathematics is difficult to learn. The table below indicates the number of schools in the District.
