HANDING OVER OF 250 DUAL DESK TO EIGHT (8) BASIC SCHOOLS IN TECHIMAN NORTH DISTRICT BY THE DCE

On Thursday, 15th August, 2024, the District Chief Executive together with Staff of the Assembly and Ghana Education Service Director presented some Two Hundred and Fifty (250) dual desk to eight basic schools in the District. The schools namely, Offuman R/C primary school, Krobo SDA primary school, Tuobodom Savior Primary school, Buoyem R/C primary, Tuobodom R/C primary B’, Tanoboase Fr. Martin primary school, Adutwei primary school and Tuobodom SDA primary school.

The dual desk was procured as a results of reports on inadequate furnishes for basic schools in the District. This has prompted the District Chief Executive and the Assembly to procure a 250 dual desk to be distributed among schools that have shortage of desk.

In addition to the furnishes, some items such as white marker boards and marker pens have also been distributed schools to enable teaching and learning.

The District Director of Education on behalf of Staff and Teachers of the various schools who received the items expressed gratitude to the DCE and Staff of the Assembly for their enormous effort in supporting education at the basic level. She added that, the teachers practice maintenance culture help preserve the desk for a longer use.
