Decentralization is very essential in very democratic nation of which Ghana is of no exception. Due to this elections are held at the end of every four years to form an assembly (Local Governance Act 2016, Act 936). The President through the Local Government Ministry gave 35 motorcycles to all assembly members.
In attendance was the Hon. Daniel Yeboah Asuamah (Presiding Member), who stood in the stead of the Hon. Peter K, Mensah (District Chief Executive). The Presiding Member charged his fellow assembly members to be vigiliant in their activities especially when they are being the motorcycles to improve their movement within their Electoral Areas.
The Assembly Members through their presiding member thanked the Preseident, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo for the kind gesture extended to them which is to help them move around their Electoral Area.
The Presiding Member also assured members that, he will follow on all other documents needed for the registration of the motor bikes.
