Government Disbursed Funds to Persons with Disabilities in the District

On Thursday, December 5, 2024, the District Chief Executive, Hon. Addo Donkor Everson, alongside the Chairman of the Social Services Sub-committee and Assembly staff, disbursed funds to persons with disabilities in the district. These funds, allocated by the government, aim to support individuals with disabilities economically ¹.

The event saw the distribution of financial assistance to beneficiaries, who were urged by DCE to utilize the funds judiciously to enhance their livelihoods. Emphasizing responsible management, he encouraged recipients to make the most of the support provided.

The Chairman of the Social Services Sub-committee expressed gratitude to Hon. Addo-Donkor Everson on behalf of the beneficiaries, assuring that the funds would be used effectively.

This initiative aligns with government policies promoting empowerment and self-reliance among persons with disabilities
