Farmers Training Program

The Techiman North District Assembly on February 26, 2025, conducted four training sessions for farmers in five operational areas, including Tuobodom, Aworowa, Offuman and Buoyam. The training programs focused on:

  • Bee Keeping: Enhancing farmers’ knowledge on bee keeping best practices
  • Soap Production: Providing alternative income sources through soap making
  • Nursery Management in Vegetable Production: Improving vegetable production techniques
  • Agrochemical Usage: Educating farmers on safe and effective agrochemical use

Objectives
These training sessions aimed to:

  • Enhance farmers’ knowledge and skills in their respective fields
  • Provide alternative income sources to improve livelihoods
  • Promote sustainable agricultural practices

Impact
By empowering farmers with knowledge and skills, we can improve agricultural productivity, increase income, and enhance food security in our communities.

Community Engagement
The training sessions demonstrate our commitment to engaging with local communities and supporting their development. We look forward to continuing our work with farmers in Techiman North.
