The District Chief Executive of Techiman North in the Bono East Region, Hon Addo-Donkor Everson has brought a contractor who is to work on 11.20KM Buoyem-Akonkonti-Bonya Road which would make the route motorable for farmers in the catchment areas.
Hon. Everson in an interview with journalists said his priority is to make sure contractors working on various roads in the District execute quality work to benefit farmers in the District.
The People’s DCE opined that he would monitor the contractors; We- Mends Company Limited who are to work on the 11.20KM to complete the work within the stipulated time.
Aside the current Work, Contractors are also working on almost four other roads namely, Bonya Nkwanta, Bonya-Amangoase, Atrensu -Kokroko-Kokoago, Aworowa-Odumasi-Kokroko, Tuobodom Town Roads
He added that all the aforementioned Roads Contracts were awarded during the Former Member of Parliament, Hon. Martin Oti Gyarko’s era and called for support of each in Techiman North.
The DCE finally appealed to farmers in the catchment areas to help the contractors to work without any hindrance.
