DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF TECHIMAN NORTH DISTRICT ASSEMBLY AND GHANA EDUCATION SERVICE DIRECTOR VISIT TO VICTIMS OF ACCIDENT AT THE TECHIMAN HOLY FAMILY HOSPTAL EMERGENCY UNIT

In the early hours of Thursday 16th March, 2023, The District Chief Executive together with the District Director of Ghana Education Service and some members of DISEC visited the Techiman Holy Family Hospital Emergency Unit

The visit was necessitated due to occurrence of an accident involving some Basic School pupils of two schools in a separate locations.

The schools are;

  1. Combat Academy Tuobodom, who were returning from Excursion in the central region and had the accident at Mount Camel School Techiman Municipal. whiles
  2. Roman Catholic Basic School, Tuobodom and
  3. Nuriya Basic School, Tuobodom

occurred on the R/C primary school by a taxi cab and some school pupil crossing the road on the Techiman- Tamale Highway at Tuobodom.

The District Security Committee is putting in place measures to avoid such an unfortunate incident in the future.

In this regard, the District chief Executive and Staff of the Assembly sympathizes with families of the accident victims in this trying times and wish the victims a speedy recovery.
