MEETING WITH SCHOOL FEEDING CATERERS IN TECHIMAN NORTH DISTRICT.

On Wednesday 18th January 2023, Hon. Addo-Donkor Everson, District Chief Executive for Techiman North District, met about fifty (51) caterers who provide their services on the Ghana School Feeding program for the schools in the District.

The District Chief Executive’s interaction with the caterers was to know some of the challenges they are facing and also address them as well. The challenges which included delays in payments of caterers were addressed by the District Chief Executive.

In his remarks, he told the caterers there are challenges that the government is currently facing however, caterers should not use that as a yardstick to cook any consumable meal for the pupil.

Again, he mentioned that, if someone is facing difficulty in any school should make it known so that management can address it as soon as practicable.

District Chief Executive assured them that the government is working tirelessly to ensure that all arrears are cleared. On that note, Hon Addo-Donkor Everson informed them about the monitoring exercise by the Management of Ghana School Feeding monitoring exercise and asked that all caterers should be at a post for the activity to place.
