ONE DAY TRAINING PROGRAM ON MULTI-DIMENSIONAL POVERTY INDEX BY GHANA STATISTICS SERVICE
On Monday, June 24, 2024, the Ghana Statistical Service organized a one-day training on Multi-Dimensional Poverty for the staff of the Techiman North District Assembly. The training focused on analyzing the proportion of the population experiencing multidimensional poverty, considering factors such as household size, sex, age, locality, education level, employment sector, and marital status. It was revealed that 15% of the district’s household population of 99,798 is multidimensionally poor, with an intensity of 41.8%.
