Techiman North District Honors Top Farmers, Charts Path for Agro-Industrial Growth at 41st National Farmers’ Day

Techiman North District marked a milestone hosting the 41st National Farmers’ Day in Mesidan. Fourteen outstanding farmers were honored, including Overall Best Farmer Kabar Azike. The DCE, Hon. Johnson Adom Kwabena, and MP, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, outlined bold plans to transform the district’s agriculture. Key projects announced include a new cashew processing factory in Tanoboase, the Nkoko Nkitinkiti poultry initiative, and a 500-acre agro-industrial hub at Aboabo. These efforts aim to reduce post-harvest losses, add value, and secure a prosperous future for local farmers and the national economy.
