Techiman North on the Right Path: A Six-Month Stewardship Report Highlights Progress and Collaborative Leadership

Posted on October 10, 2025October 30, 2025 By mis

The past six months have marked a period of significant and tangible progress for the Techiman North District, a testament to a shared vision and relentless effort from local leadership and the community. This was the central message delivered by the District Chief Executive (DCE) during a recent accounting of stewardship before the Parliamentary Committee on Local Government.

In a comprehensive address, the DCE outlined the district’s developmental trajectory, expressing a firm conviction that the area is experiencing accelerated growth under the JDM–NDC administration, championed locally by the Member of Parliament, Hon. Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare.

The report highlighted that the district’s achievements are not the result of a single individual’s effort, but the product of a powerful, collaborative framework. The DCE credited the “sincere guidance and support” of Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, the dedicated staff of the District Assembly, and all Assembly Members for creating an environment where development can thrive.

“This journey has been marked by hard work, commitment, determination, and diligence from every corner of our district,” the DCE stated. “It is through this united front that we have been able to demonstrate, with evidence and action, that Techiman North is indeed on the right path of development.”

The appearance before the Parliamentary Committee on Local Government, chaired by Hon. Queenstar Maame Pokuaa Sawyer, was described as a constructive and supportive engagement. The DCE extended deepest appreciation to the Committee members for their insightful feedback and reaffirmed the district’s alignment with the national vision.

Gratitude was also extended to His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama for creating the enabling policy environment and to Hon. Ofosu-Adjare for her unwavering advocacy and partnership at the constituency level.

Looking ahead, the leadership of Techiman North remains steadfast in its mission. The report concluded with a powerful and forward-looking pledge that resonates with the aspirations of the community’s youth and future generations.

“Our work is far from over, but the foundation is strong and our resolve is stronger,” the DCE affirmed. “With the continued support of our partners and the people of Techiman North, we are confident that we will make our generation proud by building a district that is prosperous, inclusive, and poised for a brilliant future.”

The District Assembly has pledged to continue its transparent communication with the public as more projects and initiatives are rolled out in the coming months.
