Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare<\/strong>, Member of Parliament and Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, together with\u00a0Hon. Adom Kwabena Johnson<\/strong>, District Chief Executive, led the handing over and commissioning of major educational projects across the Techiman North District.<\/p>\n

The programme forms part of the district’s continued efforts to improve educational infrastructure and promote quality teaching and learning outcomes.<\/p>\n

Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare underscored the importance of education as the foundation of national development.<\/p>\n

“Education is the foundation of our nation, and no child should be denied access to quality learning facilities. The new JHS block at Jebiri and the 12-unit classroom block at St. Francis Senior High School in Buoyem will provide a conducive environment for our students to excel academically. I urge teachers to make the best use of these facilities and parents to support the education of their children. Together, we can ensure that every child in Techiman North has access to quality education.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hon. Adom Kwabena Johnson, the District Chief Executive, added:<\/p>\n

“We are committed to improving educational infrastructure throughout the District. These projects reflect our dedication to creating opportunities for our young ones. I call on the community to maintain these facilities and ensure that our children benefit fully from them. The District Assembly remains devoted to supporting education, and we will continue to invest in projects that benefit our youth and the future of Techiman North.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As part of the programme, 1,000 pieces of school furniture were presented to Basic and Senior High Schools across the district. This intervention aims to address the furniture deficit in schools, reduce congestion, and provide a comfortable learning environment for both students and teachers. School authorities expressed appreciation, noting that the support would significantly enhance academic work.<\/p>\n

The delegation proceeded to Jebiri for the commissioning of a newly constructed Junior High School block. The facility is expected to improve access to quality education in the community and create a more suitable learning atmosphere for students.<\/p>\n

The final activity was the commissioning of a 12-unit classroom block at St. Francis Senior High School, Buoyem. The new classroom block will help reduce overcrowding, improve classroom management, and enhance effective teaching and learning within the school.<\/p>\n

The handing over and commissioning programme was successfully carried out and well attended by education officials, traditional leaders, community members, staff, and students. The exercise once again demonstrates the dedication of the district leadership to advancing education and community development.<\/p>\n
