The meeting brought together head teachers from seven schools: Tuobodom Senior High Technical School, St Francis&#8217; Seminary\/Senior High School, Akumfi Ameyaw Senior High School, Krobo Senior High School, Boako Effah Senior High School, Hope International Senior High School and Abrafi Senior High School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meeting Objectives<br>The meeting aimed to discuss the successes and challenges faced by the senior high schools in the district. Key highlights included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Academic Achievements:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excellent WASSCE performance over the past five years, with some schools achieving 100% pass rates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Active participation in the National Science and Math Quiz, with hopes of reaching the national level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sports Achievements:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students excelled in various sporting activities at zonal and regional levels, with Akumfi Ameyaw Senior High School winning both boys and girls athletics games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Infrastructural Development:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Schools renovated existing structures and successfully solicited funds for developmental projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting provided a platform for the DCE and head teachers to share insights and discuss strategies for improving educational outcomes in\u00a0the\u00a0district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, the head teachers highlighted several challenges affecting the schools&#8217; performance and student experience. Key points from his response include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support for Private Schools: The DCE assured Hope International Senior High School that their challenges would be communicated to the Member of Parliament for consideration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>School Conversion: Schools interested in transitioning from day to boarding systems were advised to submit formal requests through the DCE&#8217;s office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Furniture Support: Schools in need of furniture were encouraged to write officially to the district assembly to request support.
