The Techiman North District Assembly’s Social Welfare department, in collaboration with SOS Tamale, conducted a monitoring visit to check on the well-being of orphans reintegrated into their families. The visit aimed to ensure these children are adjusting well to their new environments and receiving necessary support.<\/p>\n
Some communities visited are Offuman-Dampaso where the team met with Princilla Afia Achiaa, a 17-year-old student enrolled in Methodist Primary 6 and also Tuobodom, they also visited Emmanuel Ameyaw Opoku, a 16-year-old student at St. James Minor Seminary.<\/p>\n
The visit sought to monitor the living conditions and well-being of reintegrated orphans, assess their access to education and other essential services and provide support and guidance to families caring for these children.<\/p>\n
